Make Money Blogging Starter Guide

Make Money Blogging Starter Guide

Here on Blogging Business Tips you will find the best reviews on affiliate programs and how to use them on your blog for profits. If you are just getting started in the blogging business, don't worry your not too late. The demand for information is huge on the Internet and if you write a good blog with useful information, people will come to it. "If you build it, they will come" is my motto. Of course, as always it takes some work. So for you newbies here is a good jump start for what you need to do.

Step #1 - You need a place to host your blogs.

You can use Blogger.com for free or choose a pay hosting company like HostGator. Blogger is a great service, owned by Google that allows you a free place to blog and earn money. You can write about whatever you like and set up ad blocks on your blog to make money. As you can see, Blogging Business Tips is located on Blogger. I have hundreds of blogs on my HostGator account, but love Blogger for the ease of use and how well search engines love blogger blogs as well. If you want more freedom, such as the ability to run cgi scripts then Hostgator is what you need. Using our coupon WebMoneyTips - You can get your first month of hosting for free, and every other month after that is $4.95 - Unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage!

Step #2 - You need a advertising network

Everybody knows Google Adsense is the king of online advertising and is a must for any website owner or blog. My motto is, why stop there. I use both Google and Chitika as another source of revenue. Over all Chitka has been highly profitable and on most keywords, I earn more per click than I do with Adsense. I suggest you try both and see what works for you the best. With Chikita you get approved almost instantly, with Google Adsense, it can take some time before you get approved.

Step #3 - You will need sponsor

Whatever the niche or category your blog is about, choose a sponsor that offers the same product-information you do. For instance, if you had a blog about cooking, choose a sponsor that would sell cooking supplies, recipes, etc. If your blog was about cars, choose a sponsor that offered car parts, manuals etc
You can find these sponsors online buy just goggling for them (I will be adding a huge list of sponsors in the days to come)  Now, two sponsors I use that will fit in with just about any blog niche you have is A online dating program sponsor With this program, you can earn money 3 ways. Pay Per E-mail, when a person just enters their e-mail, you get $2.00, Pay Per Signup when a person joins the dating site, you earn a flat $50 or Revshare, where you earn 50% of all money spent for the entire time they are a member of the site. Click here and setup your account instantly start making money. The next program offers a ton of products you can link to and earn $35-$300 per sale, and you get paid weekly. No HOLDS. They sell product designed for men such as the popular male enhancement products, muscle and weight loss products etc. This program makes me $100-150 a week every week with only a few links added to my blogs. Click here for more info on this program.

Step #4 - Choose what you want to write about.

Okay you have your blog hosting, ad network and sponsors, now get to work on blog post! You need to chose a topic that you want to write about carefully. You need to choose a topic to write about that you can create at a minimum 1-2 blog post a week. For my blogs, I update them all once a day to keep fresh and keep new visitors coming. Search engines love fresh blog posts.

Step #5 - You need to promote your blog.

Submit your blog to Google, Bing, Yahoo, Dmoz anywhere you can. Any search engine that allows submissions make sure you submit. Find blogs that are similar to yours and ask the owner and trade links. Getting your blog link everywhere you can, will only get you more hits that will make you more money. Find message boards and forums that are related to your page and post there, network and social media is key. Make a Twitter, Facebook page any other social media you can.

Make sure you check out Part 2 of this post, will be posted in a few days. Stick around!
